Type specimen: Univ. Calif. Mus. Pal. no. 34452, a limb element (left ulna). Its type locality is Flint Hill North, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial horizon in the Batesland Formation of South Dakota.
Ecology: volant carnivore
Distribution: found only at Flint Hill North
