Sister taxa: Neophrontops americanus, Neophrontops dakotensis, Neophrontops slaughteri, Neophrontops vallecitoensis
Type specimen: H. C. 691, a limb element (distal end of humerus). Its type locality is Thomson Quarry, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial horizon in the Sheep Creek Formation of Nebraska.
Ecology: volant carnivore
Distribution: found only at Thomson Quarry
