Type specimen: UNSM No. 12043, a limb element (distal end of right tibio-tarsus). Its type locality is Eocrex primus Type Locality, which is in a Wasatchian/Bridgerian lacustrine horizon in the Wasatch Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Eocrex primus Type Locality
