Type specimen: UCMP 51440, a maxilla (left fragmentary maxilla with M2-3). Its type locality is Kent 484, which is in a Lancian terrestrial horizon in the Lance Formation of Wyoming.

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Canada (1: Alberta collection), United States (30: Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming)

Total: 31 collections each including a single occurrence
