Type specimen: SHM-CP 409 and 410, a mandible (fragmentary mandible with p4-m1 on the left side, and c, p3-m1 on the right side). Its type locality is Cha Prong Pit, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial mudstone/lignite in Thailand.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore-omnivore

Distribution: found only at Cha Prong Pit
