• "The specimen was recovered from a detached block of shale coming from about 2 m above the Middle White Stone Band, and is therefore from the upper part of the eastlecottensis Subzone, pectinatus Zone, Upper Kimmerige Clay. The horizon was incorrectly given as rotunda Zone by Brown (1981:301)" (Brown et al. 1986:226)
