When: Fossil Forest Member (Fruitland Formation), Late/Upper Campanian (83.5 - 70.6 Ma)

• approx. 5 m below the "Bisti Bed"

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: coarse channel fill; volcaniclastic, flat-pebble conglomerate and sandstone

• "a well-drained upper delta plain environment" with deposit representing a channel fill.
• "an intercalated clay-pebble conglomerate and volcanic ash, in turn overlain by planar-bedded sandstone"
