• Late Hauterivian–Early Barremian age is well constrained by charophyte assemblages. The lower levels contain late Hauterivian–Early Barremian assemblages and the upper levels have early Barremian assemblages (e.g. Martín-Closas 1989; Pérez-Cano et al. 2021).
