Environment/lithology: dry floodplain; lithified, fine-grained, calcareous tuff

• "a dry, well-drained [non-lacustrine] environment" covered with "evergreen forests" in a volcanic crater
• "heavy-fine bedded occasionally cross-bedded [reworked basaltic] tuffs" that are "altered and slightly calcareous"

Size classes: macrofossils, mesofossils

Preservation: mold/impression, replaced with calcite
