Collected by Ira Cornwall in 1922-1924
• These specimens were amassed by Ira Cornwall sometime between 1922 and 1924, and were donated to the USNM in 1924. It is unclear who collected them, but they are listed as having come from the "beach to the west of Muir Creek". Stratigraphy of these localities is complex, and it is uncertain if they came from the same strata as the Kirby Creek Cornwallius specimens or the Muir Creek Desmostylus hesperus specimens.
