• LITHOSTRATIGRAPHY: From the Chulec Fm, which is locally overlain by the Pariatambo Fm (Albian), and overlies the Inca Fm (Albian). AGE: Albian, on the basis of ammonite biostratigraphy; Knemiceras raimondii zone; placed here in Early Albian on the basis of stratigraphic position. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: Collection from 60 m thick marl unit, near the lower part of the section.
