• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the "type Zuluzum", hence an informal unit, for which lithostratigraphic relations are unknown. AGE: early Late Miocene on the basis of macrofaunal biostratigraphy. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: Uknown position in section or formation.

Environment/lithology: coastal; unlithified siliciclastic sediments

• ENVIRONMENT: Probably coastal siliciclastic marine.
