When: Jianshangou Member (Yixian Formation), Late/Upper Barremian to Late/Upper Barremian (130.0 - 122.5 Ma)

• assigned by Chiappe et al. (2007) without discussion to the lower part of Yixian Formation, but within the Hengdaozi Member of the Chaomidianzi Formation, "formerly regarded as the lower part of the Yixian Formation," according to Ji et al. (1999). This is now the Hengdaozi bed within the Jianshangou Member of the Yixian Fm.

• the Hengdaozi Member consists of "lacustrine grayish-yellow and grayish-green tuffaceous sandstones, siltstones, and silty mudstones" (Ji et al. 1999)
