Where: Coahuila, Mexico (25.5° N, 101.4° W: paleocoordinates 31.6° N, 76.0° W)

When: Cerro del Pueblo Formation (Difunta Group), Late/Upper Campanian (83.5 - 70.6 Ma)

Environment/lithology: estuary or bay; lithified, gray, calcareous mudstone

• shallow, extensive brackish water bays, distributary channels
• "a highly cemented calcareous grey mudstone"
