Also known as Angela Elmira Mine
Where: Cuba (22.9° N, 82.4° W: paleocoordinates 23.6° N, 71.8° W)
• coordinate based on nearby landmark
• outcrop-level geographic resolution
When: Ypresian to Ypresian (56.0 - 38.0 Ma)
• Kiel & Hansen (2015) update the age to be either Ypresian or Bartonian.
•STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: Unknown lithostratigraphy. AGE: Stated in text to be doubtfully Oligocene. All taxa are new species, but given that all other collections that were stated to be Oligocene are in fact probably Early to Middle Miocene this collection is assumed here to be Early Miocene. Assignments for other collections are based on correlations to Tampa Limeston (Arcadia Formation = Late Oligocene-Early Miocene). STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: Unknown position within local section.
• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution
Environment/lithology: coastal; unlithified tar
Size class: macrofossils
Collected by Wiebusch; reposited in the USNM
Collection methods: surface (in situ),
• COLLECTOR: Obtained by Wiebusch. REPOSITORY: USNM.
