• This collection had a L. Miocene age assigned. However, the Petaca formation has been considered as an Oligocene-M.Miocene formation. Calle et al., 2018: Therefore, from north to south, available geo-chronologic results indicate an Oligocene– earliest Miocene (∼32–24 Ma) age for the Petaca Formation.
