• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From Profilbekken Mbr within the Valhallfonna Formation. AGE: Associated fauna indicates that the member belongs within the Whiterock stage of N. America, correlating approximately with the Kundan stage of the Baltic region, and early Llanvirn of the British successions. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: 32 m above the base of the Profilbekken Member in its type section.
