• SOURCE: composite assemblage from beds exposed in cliff section. AGE: Upper Oligocene, equivalent to the Heath Shales. STRAIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: forms a belt etween the middle Oligocene Zapotal and Mocene Aguada and Amen units, also observed overlying sandstones of the Puinta Mambra unit.
