Environment/lithology: shallow subtidal; lithified, dolomitic, gray, yellow, argillaceous lime mudstone and mudstone

• typically composed of dense blue-gray limestone beds separated by brown dolomitic clay partings, includes a few beds of yellow-brown calcareous mudstone or soft argillaceous limestone. [dense limestone here is characterized as lithographic = lime mudstone to me]
