Where: Dalanzagad, Mongolia (44.5° N, 104.7° E: paleocoordinates 47.6° N, 95.5° E)

When: Upper Member (Ulaanoosh Formation), Late/Upper Albian to Late/Upper Albian (105.3 - 93.9 Ma)

• originally assigned to Barun Goyot (Late Cretaceous) but now considered to be Lower Cretaceous age; later assigned to Baruunbayan Fm.

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: alluvial fan; concretionary, brown, red, carbonaceous claystone and conglomerate

• "alluvial (and occasional proluvial) deposits formed near channel bars of a river"
• "gritstones and conglomerates"; "red and red-brown clays interbedded with variously grained sands, showing coarse oblique bedding, or with conglomerates and gravels. Carbonate concretions are common."; "red gravellite and conglomerate."
