When: Obukhiv Formation, Priabonian (38.0 - 33.9 Ma)

• The Obukhiv Formation. The cetacean bearing layer, as well as deposits covering it, contained the late Eocene (Priabonian) assemblage with Charlesdowniea clathata angulosa, Thalassiphora fenestrata, Glaphyrocysta semitecta, which corresponds to the association of Charlesdowniea clathata angulosa Zone (Andreyeva- Grigorovich et al., 2011).
