Where: Erath County, Texas (32.3° N, 98.3° W: paleocoordinates 29.9° N, 58.2° W)

• coordinate based on nearby landmark

• outcrop-level geographic resolution

When: Paluxy Formation (Trinity Group), Albian (113.0 - 100.5 Ma)

• found in sandstone at base of Paluxy but time equivalent to the uppermost part of the Glen Rose. Also, contact between the two formations is gradational.

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: marine; bioturbated, fine, calcareous sandstone

• sands deposited by longshore currents, and modified shoreward by wave swash and tidal action in a nearshore environment
• calcite-cemented sandstone, fine to medium grained; "Sandstone; very fine to fine-grained, calcite cement with minor ferroan dolomite, well sorted, quartz arenite, bioturbated, well-preserved deeply impressed dinosaur tracks."
