• Near base of the Llajas Formation, basal "Domengine" stage, top of CP11 calcareous nannoplankton zone, Ypresian stage, Lower Eocene, C22r chron. Approximately 62 m abopve base of the Llajas Formation.

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: offshore; lithified, bioturbated sandstone

• Listed as "shallow marine transgressive". This collection is from deposits of slightly deeper waters than those of the underlying transgressive shallow marine facies, and were less effected by storm reworking.
• Alternating laminated and bioturbated sandstones.
