• From lower Llajas Formation, lower "Domengine" stage, base of CP12a calcareous nannoplankton zone, upper Ypresian stage, Lower Eocene, C22n chron.

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: offshore; bioturbated sandstone and argillaceous siltstone

• Listed as "shallow marine transgressive" - as from top of unit, which appears to be transgressive, and immediatelty below the apparent "maximum flooding/starvation zone", the offshore environment is chosen for this collection, rather than shallow water indet.
• Alternating laminated and bioturbated sandstones grading into muddy siltstone.
