• Middle to Upper Pliocene, post-Kalimnan, pre-Maretimo (Sutherland and Kershaw 1971)

Environment/lithology: open shallow subtidal; fine-grained, silty limestone and sandstone

• Shallow water but open sea conditions (Sutherland and Kershaw 1971), very shallow but fully marine, possible early estuarine aspects
• fine silty coquina limestones and sands
