Environment/lithology: terrestrial; gray marl and red, sandy siltstone

• "thin, lateraly extensive beds of granuitic sandstone (poorly sorted) with trough cross-stratification; thin beds of light-red to pink sandy siltstone; and thick beds (> 1 m) of laminated grey-green shale, claystone, and marl." Sample from "grey marl".
