When: Arcillas de Morella Formation, Late/Upper Barremian (130.0 - 125.5 Ma)

• informal name; layer at 50.7m from top; "lower Bedoulian" stage

•Villanueva-Amadoz et al. 2015: A Barremian age for this formation is established by its position below the Barremian – Aptian boundary, recently located based on ammonoids in the overlying Forcall Formation from the same sub-basin.

Environment/lithology: "channel"; lithified, burrowed, bioturbated, red, argillaceous sandstone

• described as "channel fill"
• "reddish argillaceous sandstones with intercalations of sometimes cemented and sometimes sandy horizons, whose thickness does not exceed 0.2 m. Its lower surface is slightly erosive, showing 'micro-cross-stratification'. In the upper part it has 'horizontal parallel stratification' perturbed by horizontal burrows. Laterally it has accumulated separated valves of Ceratostreon tuberculiferum, whose size approaches 2 cm."
