• From 3 ft thick sandstone ledge, approx. 40 ft above locality D-1061. From faunizone B (zone 3) (for that reason assigned an middle Miocene age).

Environment/lithology: coastal; fine-grained, silty sandstone

• Deposited in partially enclosed bay. The fauna has a preponderance of shallow-water forms and many of the genera are characteristic of tropical or subtropical climate.
• Fine-grained, silty sandstone.
