When: Salada Formation, Pliocene (5.3 - 2.6 Ma)
• From sandy beds of Salada Formation. At Santa Rosalia more than 400 feet of sediments is seen, although the base is not observed. Considered to be equivalent to beds at Isla Cedros. Posssibly outcrops described as Salada Fm are not all the same age, yet most appear to be Pliocene.
