Environment/lithology: marine; unlithified, diatomaceous, gray, green mudstone

• Benthic foraminifers indicate an outer shelf-upper bathyal environment.
• The conspicuous occurrence of mollusks occurred in a diatom- and foraminifer- bearing olive gray mud with minor content of calcareous nannoplankton that belong to nannoplankton Zone NN20 (Gephyrocapsa oceanica Zone) of late Pleistocene age.
