When: Um ad Dahiv Formation, Early/Lower Oligocene (33.9 - 28.4 Ma)

• It consists of white, grey, and yellow dolomitic limestones with thin beds of light grey clays and gypsum in the middle part. The contacts with the overlying Greir Bu Hascisc Formation (upper Oligocene) and the underlying Wadi Tamet Formation (Eocene) are gradational. Its thickness is 70-80 m (230-262 ft).
