• authors are erecting this as a new formation, within the Huntingbridge division, Bracklesham Group. They equate it with the Selsley division, so I'm calling it Lutetian. This unit is 0.35 m thick and part of the "Rimella Canalis Bed"

Environment/lithology: marginal marine; silty, sandy claystone and fine-grained, glauconitic, silty, sandy claystone

• sandy clays with thinner beds of silty sand and silty clays, this unit is clay, pale blue-green, laminated, with very fine glauconitic sand. Tabular siltstones at upper contact.
