• Gauss epoch, Late Pliocene, MN16, Villanyian. There are two localities - Hajnacka I and II, one to the north and one to the south of Hajnacka village. This is the one to the north.

Environment/lithology: lacustrine

• 'The fossils are found in limnic basin fillings with pyroclastic intercalations (tuffs, tuffite, lapilli, agglomerates).'
