• Although the title of the paper says late Pliocene and Early Pliestocene, in this sequence the base of Pleistocene is taken to be 0.8Ma = Early Middle Pleistocene. So this site is equivalent to the Middle Pleistocene.

Environment/lithology:

• Bluish-grey clays and silts.
