• same age as Kislang, upper Villanyian, MN17.

Environment/lithology: fluvial

• 'the overlying sediment is loess, whereas the underlying rock is Pannonian clay.'

Size class: macrofossils

Collection methods: Material held in the Hungarian National Geological Institute. Ercsi is the type locality for the 'meridionalis pebbles'.
