Where: Andalucia, Spain (37.3° N, 3.3° W: paleocoordinates 37.4° N, 3.6° W)

When: Ruscinian (5.3 - 3.2 Ma)

• Late Pliocene, MN15.

Environment/lithology: fissure fill

• 'infillings in the karstic fissures formed in the Liasic limestones in the last spurs of Sierra Harana (External zone of the Cordillera Betica).'
• stage 2 is 'made up of an alternation of fine grained materials with carbonate pebbles and clayish levels similar to those of stage 1 (Mo1L-1), but being less frequent and thinner (3-4cm). This deposit is 3m thick and has very little fauna.
