• likely come from the Hengistbury Beds, as they are the only ones that contain glauconite

Environment/lithology: fluvial-lacustrine; glauconitic, black, green, carbonaceous sandstone and glauconitic, brown, gray claystone

• The lower beds are dark olive-green sandy clays with much glauconite and a flint-pebble layer at the base.

•The upper beds are also glauconitic...silty clays with sandy partings...may be pale chocolate or dark gray.

Preservation: mold/impression, original carbon
