Where: Tatawin, Tunisia (32.9° N, 10.3° E: paleocoordinates 16.1° N, 10.9° E)

When: Continental Intercalaire Formation, Barremian to Barremian (129.4 - 100.5 Ma)

• Beds are not easily dated but studies in the last few years agree that beds exposed in Tunisia are likely Barremian–Albian. See Fanti et al. 2012; Hamed et al. 2014; Fanti et al. 2016; Holwerda 2020

Environment/lithology: terrestrial; conglomerate and sandstone

• "sandy zone at mid height, and a conglomeratic level"

Size classes: macrofossils, mesofossils

Preservation: replaced with silica
