• Beds with calcareous sandstone concretions, roughly equivalent to Kitchinites darwini subzone

• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: marine; lithified limestone

• The mosasaur mandible described here from Cocholgüe is preserved in a limestone concretion which must come from this lithostratigraphic unit, although the precise stratigraphic level within the unit is not known

• The mosasaur specimen comprises the fragments of two disarticulated mandibular rami and

•fragments of bones likely also coming from the mandible.
