When: HICE other zone, Upper Member (Whirlpool Formation), Hirnantian (445.2 - 443.4 Ma)

• Although Hercochitina crickmayi is found there, the HICE isotopic excursion also is documented in the Whirlpool. This indicates a Hirnantian age.
