• Miño-Boilini et al. 2019: Xen-121 in this study was recovered from the Neogene El Polvorín Formation (Poiré et al., 2005). This geological unit is part of the Neogene sedimentary cover, which lies unconformably over limestones of the Neoproterozoic Sierras Bayas Group (Poiré and Gaucher, 2009) and La Providencia Group (Arrouy et al., 2015), in the “Tandilia System” mountain range (Nágera, 1940) of Buenos Aires province. The specimen of Proscelidodon rothi was collected from the lower section of the El Polvorín Fm. (Fig. 2), from the “Facies Calera” defined by De los Reyes et al. (2013)
