Tumlin Gród Quarry (Triassic to of Poland)

Where: Swietokrzyskie, Poland (51.0° N, 20.6° E: paleocoordinates 18.7° N, 26.8° E)

• coordinate stated in text

• outcrop-level geographic resolution

When: Tumlin Sandstone Member, Induan to Induan (252.2 - 247.2 Ma)

• "the age of the Tumlin Sandstone is determined here as the latest (uppermost) Permian (Dorashamian), very close to the Permian–Triassic boundary. The status of the Lundbladispora obsoleta–Protohaploxypinus pantii Assemblage Zone supports this interpretation (Ptaszyński and Niedźwiedzki 2002). This also allows us to assign a Late Permian age to the considerable part of the Lower Buntsandstein (in the sense of Kuleta and Nawrocki 2000, see also Ptaszyński and Niedźwiedzki 2002) outcropping in the Holy Cross Mountains." (Ptaszyński and Niedźwiedzki 2004)

•Racki (2005) disputes this, and suggests an Early Triassic age for this fauna.
