• Fossils from 3141-3170 feet below surface. Age listed in David 1946 as "Eogene" reflecting the author's interpretation of the age of the rocks as late Eocene to potentially early Oligocene. Formation as a whole now regarded as late middle Eocene to Eocene (see chapters in USGS Professional Paper 1713).
