•Age of Iron Springs Formation is poorly constrained. Eaton et al. (2014) obtained radiometric dates from the Iron Springs Formation. They reported an 40Ar/39Ar age of 83.1±1.1 Ma from a blue biotite ash found in Parowan Canyon, east of Parowan Gap. However, age may extend back to the latest Cenomanian (Goldstrand, 1990; Fillmore, 1991; Eaton et al. 2001)
