• In Schoch & Milner (2014; Palaeoherpetology Handbook) the formation is noted to be the Atrasado Formation, but in original paper it is recorded as the Wild Cow Formation. "The vertebrate fossils of the Kinney Brick locality are recovered from the Pine Shadow Member of the Wild Cow Formation in Bernalillo County, New Mexico. Based on fusulinids, the Pine Shadow Member is assigned an early Virgilian age, and approximately 28 m of the upper part of the member are exposed in the quarry." Kissel (2010)
