Where: New South Wales, Australia (33.0° S, 148.9° E: paleocoordinates 0.7° S, 174.6° E)
• coordinate estimated from map
• local area-level geographic resolution
When: Ozarkodina remscheidensis eosteinhornensis zone, Camelford Formation, Pridoli (423.0 - 419.2 Ma)
• Brachiopods suggest Pridoli age, as does some of the conodont data. Age coincides with that of Camelford Limestone near Wellington, based on conodonts found in that formation.
• formation-level stratigraphic resolution
Environment/lithology: shallow subtidal; limestone
Size class: microfossils
Preservation: replaced with silica
Primary reference: J. R. Farrell. 2006. Pridoli conodont fauna from tectonically emplaced limestone blocks within the Barnby Hills Shale, central western New South Wales. Alcheringa: An Australasian Journal of Palaeontology [W. Kiessling/M. Krause]more details
Purpose of describing collection: biostratigraphic analysis
