• Previously identified as "Endothiodon" zone, was listed as Cistecephalus zone by Kitching, 1977, before the definition of the Tropidostoma zone (Rubidge, 1995). Kammerer et al., 2011 cite fossils coming from this area as belonging to the Tropidostoma Assemblage Zone.
