Where: Poland (50.7° N, 17.9° E: paleocoordinates 40.9° N, 16.5° E)
• coordinate estimated from map
• outcrop-level geographic resolution
When: Inoceramus lamarcki other zone, Middle Turonian (93.5 - 89.3 Ma)
• At the Odra Nowa quarry (Opole, southwest Poland), about 25 m of Middle and Upper Turonian strata are exposed. Three informal lithostratigraphic units are recognised, viz. the Lower Argillaceous Marls, Lower Marls and Marly Limestones. The specimen of Pachydesmoceras cf. pachydiscoide described below was collected about 0.5 m below the boundary between the I. lamarcki and I. perplexus zones, and is thus of latest Middle Turonian date.
