Environment/lithology: gray limestone

• Unit 41 is a 0.50 to 0.75 m-thick ledge of hard, dark gray, micritic limestone with shale partings, which weathers grayish brown and includes much bioclastic debris, some of it etched into relief on the bedding surface.
