Where: Scotland, United Kingdom (56.7° N, 2.8° W: paleocoordinates 21.2° S, 10.0° W)
When: Emphanisporites micronatus - Streelispora newportensis other zone, Dundee Flagstone Formation (Arbuthnott-Garvock Group), Lochkovian (419.2 - 410.8 Ma)
• Miospore content places it within the micrornatus-newportensis biozone (Richardson et al., 1984). One millipede comes from the laminite fish bed, whilst the other comes from the drab olive-green shale lithology more typical of the sediments that overlie the fish bed sensu stricto at the Tillywhandland Quarry. . PJW: I changed the group name from Arbuthnott to Arbuthnott-Garvock (see https://webapps.bgs.ac.uk/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?pub=DEF).
